Palestinian traditional singer Salwa Jaradat —dubbed '(one of) the most resounding & authentic voice(s) in the Arab region', gears up to release her original single “Inta Mana Walla Mahom”, a poignant critique of the duplicity of so-called allies to the cause, and a call to action to peoples all over the world to recognize the 75-year plight of the Palestinian people at the hands of their occupier.

With ironic lyricism and a theatrical element, Jaradat manages to deliver a sad and deeply existential and serious message, with a playfulness reminiscent of literary tragicomedy classics, with the fundamental question raised at the core: How has this gone on for so long, and where do we each morally stand in the face of ongoing oppression, brutal occupation and genocide?

The EP is completed by two remixes from Italian veteran electronica producer Bawrut (Ransom Note), as well as a remix from Jaradat’s frequent collaborator and musical partner Etyen, continuing their collaborative works following their debut EP Galah Waji released in 2022, all while the duo prepare for the sequel later in the year.

With this EP, the artists and ourselves stand together in sonic unison to say: end the occupation, end the genocide, and free Palestine.
